Michael MacDonald, now lives in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. He grew up on a farm in County Cork. Later he took a degree in Agricultural Science at University College Dublin.
POET: A compulsive poet, Michael has published three collections of poetry to date. "Face to the Wind" reflects concern for the destiny of man. "Celtic Fire" is a considerable volume which deals with a wide range of subjects concerning Ireland in the 1990's. In "Take It Easy", Michael offers a sense of optimism approaching the new millennium.
PEAT: Michael has a wealth of agricultural experience which he brings to bear on his work as an independant consultant.
INTERNATIONAL TRADE: Michael has transacted business extensively in the Middle East, Russia and Asia. He is currently involved in the international trading of Horticultural Peats, Seaweed Drymeal and Cosmetic Blue Mud.
